Terrible end for a beautiful ship. I had the pleasure of working onboard her as Senior 3rd Radio Officer in 1976 - 77. Very happy days.

An excellently produced and constructed video but it is oh so sad. One of my old ships and to see her end like this almost brings a tear to the eye. I am glad I watched it though.

How sad! I saw her in Southhampton in 1963 when she was in her heyday. She was a very graceful ship.

such a sad tale I did the maiden voyage joining at barrow 24/10/60, All the big wigs dining on board for 6 weeks before sailing day 3/12/60, would be ashamed to see the demise of this lovely ship. very moving video
